I wanted to focus on places on campus that have specific and personal meaning to me and my parents when they have come and visit.
I wanted to focus on working at or around their favorite statue
I intend to mimic aspects of nature overtaking the pristineness of my memories surrounding childhood,
by creating a spreading mold-like covering meant to appear to slowly overtake the statue.
This is meant to represent the organic nature of life taking over and consuming the memory and replacing it with the realities of ‘life’, represented by the mold,
